Bid Connect Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 22, 2026

By creating an account, accessing, or using Bid Connect ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Networking Platform Only

Bid Connect is solely a digital networking and opportunity-posting platform that allows project owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other users to locate and communicate regarding potential construction opportunities.

BID CONNECT IS NOT A GENERAL CONTRACTOR, SUBCONTRACTOR, EMPLOYER, BROKER, AGENT, PARTNER, JOINT VENTURER, PROJECT MANAGER, OR PARTY TO ANY CONTRACT BETWEEN USERS.

Bid Connect does not award, create, negotiate, supervise, control, inspect, approve, or guarantee any construction project, bid, contractor, publisher, agreement, payment, workmanship, schedule, safety practice, or job-site condition.

Any contract or working relationship formed through the Platform exists solely between the users involved.

2. Project Listings and User Responsibility

All project listings, descriptions, plans, budgets, contact information, qualifications, bids, statements, and other content are provided by users.

Bid Connect does not guarantee that:

• a project is legitimate, funded, accurate, available, or ultimately awarded;
• a contractor is licensed, insured, qualified, financially capable, or suitable;
• information posted by any user is accurate or complete; or
• either party will perform its obligations.

Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any agreement, including verifying licenses, insurance, references, contracts, permits, payment terms, project conditions, and applicable laws.

3. Job-Site Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BID CONNECT SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY ACT, OMISSION, NEGLIGENCE, WORKMANSHIP, PAYMENT DISPUTE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, THEFT, ROBBERY, FRAUD, VIOLENCE, PERSONAL INJURY, ACCIDENT, DEATH, DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, DELAY, DEFECTIVE WORK, CODE VIOLATION, SAFETY VIOLATION, OR OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO A PROJECT, CONTRACTOR, PROJECT PUBLISHER, JOB SITE, OR AGREEMENT BETWEEN USERS.

Bid Connect does not enter job sites, direct construction operations, control workers, provide safety supervision, or participate financially in the construction contract between the parties merely because the parties connected through the Platform.

A user's dissatisfaction with another user's work, conduct, payment, performance, or project has no bearing on Bid Connect and must be resolved directly between the applicable users.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

4. Independent Relationships

Use of Bid Connect does not create employment, partnership, agency, fiduciary, franchise, joint-venture, or contractor relationships between Bid Connect and any user.

Contractors remain independent businesses and are responsible for their own employees, subcontractors, taxes, insurance, licensing, safety procedures, contracts, and legal compliance.

5. Payments and Memberships

Membership fees paid to Bid Connect are solely for access to Platform features and networking opportunities. They are not commissions on construction contracts and do not give Bid Connect ownership or financial participation in projects posted through the Platform.

Subscription pricing, billing frequency, trials, renewals, and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Square. Bid Connect does not intentionally store users' complete payment-card information.

6. User Conduct

Users may not post fraudulent projects, impersonate another person or business, misrepresent qualifications, misuse another user's information, upload unlawful content, interfere with the Platform, or use Bid Connect for illegal purposes.

Bid Connect may suspend or terminate accounts, remove postings, or restrict access when it reasonably believes these Terms have been violated.

7. Privacy and Texas Privacy Rights

Bid Connect may collect information necessary to operate the Platform, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, company information, account details, project and bid information, communications, device/log information, and other information users voluntarily provide.

Information may be used to:

• create and maintain accounts;
• display and facilitate project opportunities;
• allow users to communicate;
• process memberships;
• prevent fraud and secure the Platform;
• provide customer support; and
• improve Bid Connect.

Information may be shared with service providers necessary to operate the Platform and with other users when required by the functionality the user chooses to use.

To the extent applicable, Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including rights to request access to personal data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy of certain data, and opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling.

Bid Connect does not knowingly permit children under 18 to create contractor or project-publisher accounts.

8. No Guarantee of Results

Bid Connect does not guarantee that a user will receive bids, win projects, receive payment, find contractors, generate revenue, or obtain any specific business result through use of the Platform.

9. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bid Connect and its owners, affiliates, employees, and representatives from third-party claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your projects, work, conduct, postings, agreements with other users, violation of law, or violation of these Terms.

10. Texas Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, legal proceedings relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be brought in the appropriate courts located in Harris County, Texas.

11. Acceptance

By checking the acceptance box during registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Bid Connect Privacy Policy.
