Bid Connect Privacy Policy

Bid Connect respects user privacy and uses personal information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Platform.

Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use Bid Connect, we may collect:

• name and contact information;
• company and account information;
• login and authentication information;
• project listings, bids, messages, uploaded files, and other content you submit;
• subscription and billing status from payment providers;
• device, browser, IP, security, and usage information; and
• other information you voluntarily provide.

Bid Connect does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers. Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Square.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• create and administer accounts;
• provide project-posting, bidding, messaging, and related services;
• process and manage subscriptions;
• communicate with users;
• detect abuse, fraud, and security issues;
• comply with legal obligations; and
• maintain and improve the Platform.

Sharing

We may share information:

• with service providers that help operate Bid Connect;
• with other users when required by the feature you choose to use, such as project contact information;
• when required by law, court order, or lawful governmental request; or
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of the business.

Bid Connect does not claim ownership of construction contracts formed between users and does not receive a share of project contract value merely because users connected through the Platform.

Texas Privacy Rights

To the extent the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies, Texas consumers may have rights to:

• confirm whether personal data is being processed;
• access personal data;
• correct inaccuracies;
• request deletion;
• obtain a portable copy of certain personal data; and
• opt out of certain sales of personal data, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling.

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before completing a request. If a request is denied, you may have the right to appeal the decision using the same contact method.

Data Security

Bid Connect uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

Children

Bid Connect is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may require renewed acceptance or additional notice.
